Sovran Shopping Club is committed to protecting your privacy online and provides this Private Club’s - Privacy Policy to inform our website and replicated site members of our services, policies, and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personally identifiable information received from members of the Sovran Shopping Club, including but not limited to the Residual Rewards Program. This Policy applies to all site visitors, members, and merchants.  

The terms "We", "Us", "Service" and "Sovran Shopping Club" refer to the Sovran Shopping Club. The terms "You" and "“Your" refer to you, as a natural person private club member or private club merchant of the Sovran Shopping Club. The term "Personal Information" and "Your Information" means information that you provide to us which personally identifies you to be contacted or identified, such as your name, phone number, email address, and any other data that is tied to such information. "Your Private Content" refers to the information that you submit or post to the Sovran Shopping Club for private display, such as reviews, photos, and your private profile information, including your private name (your "Username"). By using our Service, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. If you do not agree to these terms and the terms in our TAC, please do not access or use this site or our services.

2. Information Collection and Use

Our primary goal in collecting Natural Person Information is to provide you with a way of resetting your natural person account or service. We collect the following types of information from our members and merchants:

Private Club Members and Natural Person Information. If you create a private club members account, your account is deemed to be a private natural person’s account.

Your Private Natural Person Content. By submitting Your Private Content to Sovran Shopping Club as a natural person, your information remains private.

Feedback. If you contact us to provide feedback, register a complaint, or ask a question, we will record any Personal Information and other content that you provide in your communication so that we can effectively respond to your communication.

Activity. We do not record information relating to your use of the Sovran Shopping Club Service.

Cookies. We do not collect, use or send cookies to your computer.

Enforcement. We do not collect information in connection with your use of the Service (including your Personal Information) in accordance with our TAC and Privacy Policy.

3. Information Sharing

Sovran Shopping Club will not distribute Your Content to any third parties.

Members and Merchants are allowed to share their replicated site with their private database.  

Members and Merchants are permitted to use their personal information to assist a prospective member with information on the club.    

4. Updating or Correcting your Personal Information

Members and merchants can access and edit their Personal Information provided to us and encourage you to promptly update your Personal Information if it changes. You may change any of your Personal Information in your back office at any time in accordance with instructions posted on the website. 5. Privacy Practices of Third-Party Sites

The Sovran Shopping Club may contain links to third party websites to which we have affiliation. Except as otherwise discussed in this Privacy Policy, this document only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. Other sites accessible through our site via links or service partnerships have their own privacy policies and data collection, use and disclosure practices. We are not responsible for the policies or practices of third parties.

6. Controlling Your Personal Data

Upon your request, Sovran Shopping Club will use all reasonable efforts to close your account, and cease displaying Your replicated site. We may retain your Personal Information in our system. Members and merchants who wish to close their account may contact us at support@sovranshoppingclub.com.

Your account is password protected. We use above industry standard measures to protect the Personal Information that is stored in our database.

We are very concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information. We employ administrative, physical, and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access.

In order to most efficiently serve you, credit card transactions are handled by established third party banking and processing agents. They receive only the information needed to verify and authorize your credit card or other payment information.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your Personal Information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations of the Internet which are beyond our control; (b) the security, integrity and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this site cannot be guaranteed; and (c) any such information and data may be viewed or tampered with in transit by a third party. You hereby acknowledge that Sovran Shopping Club is not responsible for any intercepted information sent via the internet, and you hereby release us from any and all claims arising out of or related to the use of intercepted information in any unauthorized manner.

We will make any lawful required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your electronically stored personal data to you via email or conspicuous posting on this site in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay.

We may use your email address to send you updates and newsletters. Your email address and Personal Information will not be displayed privately.

9. Membership policy for children

Sovran Shopping Club is not intended for children under the age of 18.  However, a subaccount may be obtained with the permission of their parents or legal guardian.

10. Notification of Changes to this Policy

You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to maintain a valid e-mail address as a member or merchant, review this site and this Policy periodically and to be aware of any modifications. If we make any material changes, we will provide notifications on the Members Site.  Your continued use of the site after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by the modified Policy.
