It centers around the Calgary Market Day to show you what happens when people come together and help one another. The video features Members sharing insights as to why they joined the Club and what they love about it, Merchants talking about how easy the system is to use, and a few others giving a bit more detailed info on the Club itself.
Our mini-informative video features Members and Merchants sharing how the system has practical application that makes our Club more relevant in our present economy. We are expecting this project to be completed in approximately two weeks. It will be available for every member to share and will be a great tool to showcase what the Club is all about and how it can enhance our financial situation and keep up with high inflation.
This will certainly change the landscape of how we view our communities and what we, as a collective, can do to make a positive impact locally.
There have been some awesome upgrades and continuing tweaks to the merchant website. The new Merchant Service is user-friendly, and you can log in directly from Merchant Services to activate your account.
If you know some quality Merchants, the time to bring them in is now! You can purchase products or services from our brick-and-mortar Merchants locally or online using your Sovran QR by downloading the Sovran App on your Android cell phone or the web version for your Apple iPhone.
When shopping on a Merchant’s website, the payments are automatically deducted from your eWallet when you checkout. You will receive an automated email confirming your purchase.
Something to Note: your password can be the same for the Residual Rewards section and Merchant Services.
However, your password for your eWallet should be different and very strong. This is not something you want others to have easy access to.
Please remember to purchase your monthly commitment of $25.
This can also be paid in increments of 3, 6, and 9 months at a time or yearly.
We have already gone from 0.25 to 0.35, and 0.45 is not too far away. Just imagine when those tokens become $10 or $15. SSC tokens are the perfect hedge against inflation and you can purchase more right now for a limited time.

With lots of Merchants coming on board, Calgary will be hosting another Market Day, bringing many different vendors under one roof.
This will be open to our Members and prospective Members to have a firsthand look and feel of what the Sovran Shopping Club is all about.
As other centers have their Market Days, the dates will be posted here in advance, along with a follow-up report on their event.
